Table

To create a Table component
  1. From the Component bar, select Table. The table component is automatically added to the board and the component configuration is now enabled in the configuration panel.
  2. From the component configuration, select the Data source you want to use for table visualization. New table properties are now available.
  3. Customize table properties.
  4. (Optional) To visualize or to use the component, click to turn Design mode off.

Customize Table

While using the component configuration, the following options are available:

  • Data source
    The data source assigned to the component.

  • Columns
    The available measures and dimensions to populate the table.

  • Options
    The table handling options.
    • Group panel: enable it to allow users to group data (dimensions) by dragging column headers onto the group panel displayed above the table.
    • Search panel: enable it to allow users to quickly search for data in the table by clicking displayed on the component header bar.
    • Total items row: enable it to display below the table a dedicated row that contains the number of items for each column filled with measures.
    • Disable highlight: disable real-time update blink.
    • Manual update: enable it to allow users to update table data by clicking displayed on the component header bar.
    • Local order by: enable it to allow users to quickly order data by dimensions using displayed on the component header bar.
    • Export excel: enable it to allow users to export the table to Excel using displayed on the component header bar.
    • Export pdf: enable it to allow users to export the table to PDF using displayed on the component header bar.
    • Show count: enable it to display the total rows count on page on the component header bar.
    • Paging: enable it to display paging navigation controls. Set the Page Size to display the default number of rows per page. Use the Allowed pages sizes to give users options (separated by commas) to display a different number of rows per page.
    • Show Headers: enable it to display column headers.
  • Appearance
    The table appearance options.
    • Show column lines: enable it to border columns.
    • Show row lines: enable it to border rows.
    • Row alternation: enable it to color alternating rows, making data easier to read.
    • Show borders: enable it to display table border.
    • Total items row on top: enable it to display the Total items row on top of the table rows.
    • Table header style: select from the drop-down list the columns header alignment.
  • Selection
    The row selection options.
    • None: click to disable selection option.
    • Single: click so that a single row can be selected at a time.
    • Multiple: click so that multiple cells can be selected at once. A checkbox column is inserted in the table, allowing you to select multiple rows. If the header checkbox is clicked, only the checkboxes displayed on the current page are selected.
    • Clear selection: click to clear the selected rows for the entire table when the table component has multiple pages.
  • Filters
    The table filtering options.
    • Local filter: enable it to allow users to filter data, using displayed on the component header bar.
    • Clear filter: select to clear all filter options.
  • Custom font size
    The table font size options. Click or until the font size is set according to your needs. Click to turn to default font size.
