Pivot

To create a Pivot component
  1. From the Component bar, select Pivot. The pivot component is automatically added to the board and the component configuration is now enabled in the configuration panel.
  2. From the component configuration, select the Data source you want to use for pivot visualization. New pivot properties are now available.
  3. Customize pivot properties.
  4. (Optional) To visualize or to use the component, click to turn Design mode off.

Customize Pivot

While using the component configuration, the following options are available:

  • Data source
    The data source assigned to the component.

  • Columns
    The available measures and/or dimensions to populate the pivot table columns.

  • Rows
    The available measures and/or dimensions to populate the pivot table rows.

  • Data
    The available measures and/or dimensions to analyze in the pivot table.

  • Options
    The pivot handling options.
    • Single data field: enable it to allow users to select data from the drop-down displayed on the component header bar. The drop-down list displays options according to the Data propertie selections.
    • Show column grand total: enable it to display the Grand Total for each row in a dedicated column, placed after all pivot table columns.
    • Show column totals: enable it to display the total for the grouped data in a column.
    • Show row grand total: enable it to display the Grand Total for each column in a dedicated row, placed after all pivot table rows.
    • Show row totals: enable it to display the total for the grouped data in a row.
    • Show totals prior: enable it when the Grand Total (column and/or row) is displayed to place it before all columns and/or rows, in the pivot table.
    • Export: enable it to allow users to export the pivot table to Excel using displayed on the component header bar.
    • Show borders: enable it to display pivot table border.
    • Row header layout: select from the drop-down list how to display the row header.
    • Local order by: enable it to allow users to quickly order data by dimensions using displayed on the component header bar.
  • Filters
    The pivot filtering options.
    • Local filter: enable it to allow users to filter data, using displayed on the component.
    • Clear filter: select to clear all filter options.
  • Custom font size
    The pivot font size options. Click or until the font size is set according to your needs. Click to turn to default font size.

  • Selection mode
    The cell selection options.
    • None: click to disable selection option.
    • Single: click to enable users to select one cell at a time.
    • Multiple: click to enable users to select multiple cells at once.
