Boards
Workspace content is composed of boards. Create boards by specifying the necessary properties.
Name – used for an easier identification in:
- the top board navigation, when you want to move from one board to another.
- the board configuration list, when you want to manage your boards.
Layout Mode – used to determine the position and size of components. You can create boards with the following layout modes:
- Default mode. In this layout mode:
- pre-designed layouts are available.
If you select a pre-designed layout, the board is created accordingly and you can click the frames to add components.
If you don’t select a pre-designed layout, you can draw the frames manually, using the gridlines. - frames overlap.
- the number of frames are limited to the current design area dimension, scrolling content not being supported.
- gridlines are enabled.
- pre-designed layouts are available.
- Smart mode. In this layout mode:
- pre-designed layouts are not available.
- frames do not overlap and are automatically arranged on the board once you click a component in the component bar.
- the design area expands once you add a component that normally does not fit on the design area, enabling you to scroll the board content up or down.
- gridlines are disabled.
