Graph 3D

To create a Graph 3D component
  1. From the Component bar, select Graph 3D. The Graph 3D component is automatically added to the board and the component configuration is now enabled in the configuration panel.
  2. From the component configuration, select the Data source you want to use for Graph 3D visualization. New properties are now available.
  3. Customize Graph 3D properties.
  4. (Optional) To visualize or to use the component, click to turn Design mode off.

Customize Graph 3D

While using the component configuration, the following options are available:

  • Data source
The data source assigned to the component.

  • x
The available dimensions and measures to populate data in the x-axis of the Graph 3D.

  • y
The available dimensions and measures to populate data in the y-axis of the Graph 3D.

  • z
The available dimensions and measures to populate data in the z-axis of the Graph 3D.

  • Filter
The available dimensions and measures to filter the Graph 3D.

  • Graph Type
The data graphical representation. Select form a variety of graph types to present your data in a meaningful way.

  • Appearance
The graph appearance options. Zoom and rotate the graph to view from different perspectives.
    • Show perspective: enable it to limit the tilt angle of the view so that the graph is always displayed in a 3-point perspective.
  • Options
    The graph handling options.
    • Switch between 2D views: enable it to allow users to quickly switch between the 2D planes define by x-z, y-z and x-y, using , and , respectively, displayed on the component header bar.
    • Local order by: enable it to allow users to quickly order data by dimensions using displayed on the component header bar.
  • Animation
The graph animation options. The graph animation allows users to view, for example, data evolution over time when a time related measure is selected as Filter.
    • Show controls: enable it to allow users to control the graph animation by using the commands displayed below the graph.
    • Interval (in ms): enter a value in milliseconds to control the frames per second and make the animation faster or slower.
    • Preload: enable it to automatically load frames in the background. This creates a smoother animation when all the frames are loaded.
    • Autostart: enable it to automatically start the animation after creating the graph.
  • Filters
    The graph filtering options.
    • Local filter: enable it to allow users to filter data, using displayed on the component header bar.
    • Clear filter: select it to clear all filter options.
  • Selection mode
    The data points selection options.
    • None: click to disable selection option.
    • Single: click to enable users to select one data point at a time.
    • Multiple: click to enable users to select multiple data points at once.
